KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia is offering its streamyx GradPack package, which targets college and university students, until Dec 31.

Subscribers will enjoy broadband service at a lower rate, as well as receive some free goodies, according to the telecommunications giant.

GradPack offers two Internet service packages � 384Kbps (kilobits per second) for RM50 a month or 1Mbps (megabit per second) for RM100 monthly.

The students who subscribe will get a free modem, and a streamyx Zone ID which grants them wireless access at more than 1,300 hotspots nationwide.

TM is also waiving its RM75 activation and RM88 installation fees for GradPack users.

Also, subscribers of the 1Mbps package will get access to music portal Hypptunes, video service HyppTV and the Rose Online Evolution massively multiplayer online role-playing game for three months.

In addition to that, they will get a TM�Manchester United special-edition T-shirt for free.

Students who want to subscribe to GradPack must present their student ID at any TMpoint, TMpoint Authorised Dealership (TAD) outlet, or TM authorised reseller nationwide.

WSJ Thinks Verizon Could Buy DirecTV - But all signs, as with AT&T, point to no...

Based on apparently no substantive cheapest mobile broadband of any kind, the Wall Street Journal wonders if Verizon might have an interest in acquiring satellite TV juggernaut DirecTV. As recently discussed, Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg has stated his desire to make video the "core product" for its fixed-line business, and acquiring the company would make Verizon the second biggest TV player behind Comcast. One can't help but wonder would all of those 90s arcade fighters have come out if it wasn't for Double Dragon? Prior to everybody lining Menara Telekom and waiting to put quarters into Street Fighter II, Double Dragon Telekom the game everybody waited in line for,

While the game may not hold up as well as once did, Double Dragon was the first real brawler that became an arcade hit. The story was based around a guy (or 2 guys, if you were playing co-op) who has to get his girlfriend back. He goes through al these levels and has to beat up a gang of hoodlums who have taken her hostage.

Every level has enough depth to keep you coming back for more. The difficulty progresses just perfectly as to help the gamer get used to the controls.

The control system of Double Dragon was quite unique for its time. First of all the game had 3 buttons. It seemed like almost every arcade had at most two buttons. Hitting the buttons in a different combination would make the character pull of a new move. Obviously these are things that are commonplace in games now, but at that time, they were considered groundbreaking.

Hopefully gamers could take another look back and give this game the credit it truly deserves.

RROD Fix - Easy

Here are P1 Wimax basic steps for fixing Adsl Line RROD for your Xbox 360.

1. Make sure the error code is in fact the Red Ring of Death. The link at the end of this article will take you to a website that has all of the error codes listed along with instructions on how to access those codes.
2. Once you know that you have RROD you will need to open your Xbox 360 console. Disconnect the power! 6. Remove the xclamps and heat sinks from the motherboard. Remove the xclamp studs from the heat sinks. Clean the old thermal paste off of the heat sinks and CPU/GPU chips.
7. Install new thermal paste. Use 8 screws and 16 washers to re-install the heat sinks to the motherboard. Yes you can throw away the xclamps.
8. Install the motherboard back in the console. Re-install the power button, dvd drive and reconnect the fan.
9. Overheat for 20 minutes and let it cool down for 15. Re-install the cooling fans.
10. Turn on the console and make sure it works. If it does put your console back together. If it doesn't adjust the screws either loosening or tightening and try again.

This is called the Xclamp fix. As you can tell from the description it is very simple. There are free instructions with pictures that you can download and look through to see if this is something you want to try. You can also watch the videos first as well. The screws, washers and thermal paste can be purchased as a kit on our website or you can get the stuff from your local hardware and computer store. If you're like me you've been bombarded by all the programs out there that claim to get you started making tons of money. And if you're like me you ended up buying Linkdslcom lot of them. What did you really get? I know I have a lot of CD's and program links that do me no good because there's always something else to buy.

I finally got smart and decided I couldn't afford to jump blindly anymore. No matter how promoted or touted a program or streamyx is, go to Google search and look up the program as a scam. Now not everything is a scam, but you may (and probably will) get at least 2 or 3 links telling you how upset and unhappy someone is with this particular program.
